Origin: selection of Prunus cerasifera

Agronomic characteristics: Mirabolano 29 C is one of the most popular rootstocks currently in Italy. It has medium vigour and a high grafting affinity with apricots (90% vigour compared to the free-graft) and plums (90% vigour compared to the free-graft). Mirabolano 29 C adapts well to calcareous and asphyxiated soils and tolerates drought fairly well. It also gives the crops a good size.
