Vivai Magalotti Quarto: over fifty years of excellence in the nursery sector.
Founded in 1965, our company initially focused on the horticultural sector. Today, with thirty years of experience in kiwifruit production, we grow selected and certified meristem plants, sourced directly from our micropropagation laboratory.
Thanks to the use of cutting-edge technologies and the expertise of highly specialized staff, our kiwi plants grow in a strictly controlled environment. This allows us to offer our customers an excellent final product: healthy, certified, and disease-free plants, characterized by a robust and vigorous root system.
Among the first to believe in growing bare-root plants in greenhouses protected from the elements to prevent bacterial blight (PSA), today, Vivai Magalotti Quarto offers its customers a high-level phytosanitary guarantee. In addition to inspections by the Emilia-Romagna Region's phytosanitary service, our technicians regularly take samples and perform plant analyses in specialized laboratories. In 2016, Vivai Magalotti opened a micropropagation laboratory, thus completing the production of kiwi plants. We propagate, acclimatize, and grow; one of our goals has been achieved, and today our plants bear our signature, from start to finish.
